JAGUARS PLAYERS TO WATCH Here are J.P. Shadrick’s key players to watch in today’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers: • #20 CB Jalen Ramsey: The Jaguars secondary was responsible for a number of busts that led to big plays for the Colts last week. The morning after the game, the cryptic tweet came from @jalenramsey on Twitter: “When I’m gone from here, y’all gone miss me. I ain’t even trippin lol.” How will 2.0 respond on the fi eld this week against wide receiver Antonio Brown and the rest of the Steelers offensive weapons? • #27 RB Leonard Fournette: Yes, Fournette returned to the lineup last week. Though he scored a pair of touchdowns – one rushing and one receiving and both from the 1-yard line – at 2.2 yards per carry the big-play ability did not fl ash in the running game. For this offense to be fully effective, Fournette and the running game must be effective and take advantage of every yard out there. • #69 C Tyler Shatley: Shatley will be the starting center for the remainder of the season after Brandon Linder went down last week against the Colts with a season- ending knee injury that will require surgery. Shatley has been with the organization for a few years and has fi lled in both at center and guard throughout his career. Replacing the best all-around offensive lineman on the team is a tough task, but Shatley is a good football player that can get the job done. . • #93 Calais Campbell: Campbell was arguably the best performer on defense last week, and the Jaguars need him and the rest of the defensive front to get back to the “Sacksonville” style they displayed a season ago. Ben Roethlisberger is a statue, a really big statue that can carve you up if he has time to throw. Get him on the ground. • Also, whoever lines up at LT: Last week was brutal for the offensive line in the injury department with the Linder loss, but also injuries to both players at the left tackle position. Josh Walker started the game, but was dealing with a foot issue, left the game and later returned when his backup Ereck Flowers left the game with knee tendinitis. AP IMAGES
