Will ChatGPT Take Over The World ?

THE PROS & CONS OF OPENAI
he launch of ChatGPT quickly re-envisioned the way we do work . done , but it will not be able to invent and create . ChatGPT is only as good as the work we have already created .
ChatGPT is an OpenAI software that uses predictive intelligence to capture information and use it to create unique works , from paintings to books to articles . If you name it , ChatGPT can probably do it — and much faster than you can .
It was founded by a group of entrepreneurs , including Elon Musk , back in 2015 with the intention to use machine learning to get rid of repetitive and mundane tasks . But the capabilities of ChatGPT have

7 TIPS TO RUNNING

IT DOES NOT SOUND HUMAN .

EFFECTIVE MEETINGS

reached deep into every industry , and the results are chilling .
It wasn ’ t long after the launch that the software passed the MCAT , replaced designers on Photoshop , and wrote novels . Artists and scientists alike shook their heads at the speed the software could learn from famous works of art and then spit out a painting that was an “ original .” Questions of fear , utility , and copyright flooded social media : How can artists receive fair compensation for the countless hours they invest in creating public works , only for ChatGPT to “ learn ” and generate its own original content ? ChatGPT is only as good as the information it learns from , and all the information it is using was created by humans .
Fear about what this means for the future quickly rippled out and affected everyone .
While we have seen a fair share of sci-fi movies about robots versus humans , the debut of ChatGPT brought those far-off fantastical fears to reality .
Will it just be a matter of time before humans are defunct ? When we poke and prod at the software that is sweeping the world , we do start to see gaps , and like humans , it ’ s not perfect .
Here are 6 pros and cons about ChatGPT — and why it mostly won ’ t take over the world , yet :
IT IS A BIT TOO STRUCTURED .
You ask ChatGPT to write a blog and it uses the same bulleted format every time . You ask it to write a poem and it creates a children ’ s rhyming poem . While it can write formulaic work , it struggles to write in interesting formats that sound like a human wrote it .
It sounds intellectual . It writes well , but it lacks the ability to write colloquially , to bring the writing down to a level that people would want to read and enjoy .
A HUMAN MUST RUN THE QUERIES .
We have to tell ChatGPT what to do , and like any line of communication , it isn ’ t perfect . Its capabilities are only as extensive as we can make requests .
IT GETS RID OF SOME OF THE REPETITIVE WORK .
If we look at ChatGPT as a tool , it does a great job in simplifying our work . It helps us do better research . It helps us understand details better . It can get rid of line-item entry .
IT MAKES US ALL LEVEL-UP OUR WORK .
I like to say if ChatGPT can write it , you haven ’ t gone deep enough in the topic . If ChatGPT can regurgitate facts , there is one step further you need to go in the writing to really make sure it connects . On the flip side , ChatGPT can do a lot of repetitive tasks so we can do the deeper thinking . It is helping us be better , not replacing us .
IT IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE WORK HUMANS HAVE ALREADY CREATED .
For any intelligent AI software , it must learn before it can perform . ChatGPT is no exception . It must be fed billions of data points — including works of art , writing , information , and more — before it can create a work of its own . It is able to create work that we have already
From my experience with ChatGPT , it serves us as a good tool . Is it incredibly intelligent ? Yes , but only because the humans that came before it were intelligent . It will give you in-depth answers and write the first draft of your articles , generating new ideas you can then take further . It cuts down on our time spent doing repetitive and menial tasks , and it is a great research assistant . But ChatGPT is not perfect . It is only as good as we are . And like any good research assistant , its work needs to be checked . +
