Villager Resort on Lake Cumberland has been a staple Burnside vacation destination for decades. However, the site’ s recent owners have elevated the resort beyond its past offerings, ushering in a new era for the lakeside lodging site.
Owners Lynn and Summer Lowery entered into ownership of Villager Resort in 2019 and eventually acquired full ownership of multiple units within the resort. Since their venture into the resort business, the husband-and-wife team seek to constantly enhance their Burnside location. First and foremost, guest well-being is at the top of the list.“ Safety of all of our guests and their belongings is top priority,” said Summer Lowery.
Beyond the lodging facelifts, the Lowerys invested significant resources in improving its prize amenity, a private boat slip, to be as safe and accessible as possible for visitors. In prior years, a journey to the water was risky on weathered, steep stairs. Over the past few years, they worked to find a solution to ease
