Dianna Lowery Pulliam and her company bought the Lake Cumberland Resort office in August of 2019 . Now in its third era , the property has earned the number behind its name — Lake Cumberland Resort III .
Specifically , Lowery Pulliam Investments , LLC owns the buildings , while Lake Cumberland Resort III , LLC handles leasing of vacation property , as well as the boutique and small restaurant on site . Pulliam also handles DLP Realty Under Century 21 Advantage for real estate sales .
Pulliam and her team are also looking to add a wedding venue , and are
currently working with the City of Burnside to annex Lake Cumberland shoreline to help the restaurant on-site be able to serve alcoholic beverages .
The resort , designed around a 1,000 acre peninsula , has three pools , tennis and pickleball courts , and a lovely little chapel on the grounds where services are held regularly .
The Keno boat ramp is nearby , as is the Keno Shooting Range , located two miles before the resort entrance , with a 25-yard pistol range and 50- and 100-yard rifle ranges .
For rentals , the resort offers everything from one-bedroom suits to homes that sleep 16 .
Some of the properties are in the woods and others are on the lake .
There are 36 rental properties , and 190 homes ; Pulliam ’ s company also has homes elsewhere , such as at Woodson Bend , she noted .
Homes feature designs by noted architect William H . Phillips , Jr . of “ Southern Living ” magazine .
About 25 people make a permanent home at the resort , while others own second and vacation homes on the property . One famous figure associated with Lake Cumberland Resort is iconic Cincinnati Reds pitcher Johnny Bench , who was introduced
