“ In the fall we are super busy , and that is because of the leaves . It ’ s just so beautiful out here . Probably starting around the end of September to late October you can go down streets where you are completely in a tunnel of autumn leaves ,” said Pulliam . “ In addition , in the fall they start to lower the lake , so you can start to see the waterfalls and springs coming out of the rocks , and it looks completely different
because you are seeing these rock formations for the first time .”
Fall events will include fall festivals , Oktoberfest and even a Friendsgiving at the resort .
“ Then in the winter we do things like a gingerbread contest , and they turn out so cute . In December and January that is the time to see the ice waterfalls , cozy up by the fireplace , and so many people even have their Christmases here ,” said Pulliam . The spring will bring some of Pulliam ’ s favorite wildflowers and tree blossoms across the resort from Bradford pears and redbuds to dogwoods .
“ Watching all the blossoms in spring is my favorite part . It ’ s just crazy beautiful ,” said Pulliam .
