Hamish Erskine has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer for Dube TradePort. In his new role, Erskine will be responsible for leading the organisation as it grows its investment assets throughout its development zones under the umbrella of both the Special Economic Zones and commercial business zones.
VIRGIN ATLANTIC CARGO
Claire Phillips has been appointed as Regional Sales Manager – Continental Europe for Virgin Atlantic Cargo from September 5. In her new role, she is responsible for revenue and budget attainment in Continental Europe, a region generating some 15 percent of Virgin Atlantic’ s annual cargo revenue.
IATA
Alexandre de Juniac has officially taken on the role of Director General and CEO of The International Air Transport Association( IATA). He succeeds Tony Tyler, who served as IATA DG and CEO since 2011 and had announced his retirement. De Juniac was confirmed by the 72nd IATA Annual General Meeting this past June to be the seventh person to lead IATA. After officially taking charge, he said that he represents an industry that is in the business of freedom and his mission is to rally IATA partners to ensure that nothing impedes the business of freedom.

Philly Teixeira has joined INTTRA to serve in the newly created role of President, EMEA.
Cargolux
Claude Zehren joined Cargolux as EVP and Nominated Person Flight Operations. Zehren took over all duties from his predecessor, Jason Holt, on an interim basis on September 1.
Brussels Airlines
Christina Foerster joined Brussels Airlines as Chief Commercial Officer and will head the commercial departments of the Belgian airline from October 1.

Alexander Katsouris takes over the role of Business Development Manager in the Freight division for global aviation services group Air Partner.
C. H. ROBINSON
Nikolay Pargov has joined C. H. Robinson Europe B. V. as Operations Director, Europe Transportation. Pargov will report to Jeroen Eijsink, President of Europe for C. H. Robinson, and will be based in the European Headquarters in Amsterdam.
SEKO Logistics
James Gagne has been appointed as President for SEKO Logistics, effective January 1, 2017. William Wascher, who has led SEKO as President and Chief Executive since 2002, will continue as Chief Executive as Gagne transitions into his new role. In January 2018, Wascher who remains the largest independent shareholder of SEKO and a Board Member, will become Chairman of the company.

Jeff Mason, transportation industry leader and long-time media professional, has been appointed Chief of Staff for Transportation Intermediaries Association( TIA).

Rob Gurney has been named as the new CEO of the global airline alliance oneworld. He succeeds Bruce Ashby, who announced in January that he would be stepping down from the role this summer after more than five years in the position. Rob Gurney joins oneworld in October after leaving Gulf carrier Emirates.

Steven Polmans, Head of Cargo at Brussels Airport Company( BAC), has been appointed to The International Air Cargo Association ' s( TIACA) Board of Directors. Polmans, who has over 15 years’ experience in the aviation industry, is also the Chairman of the newlyestablished Air Cargo Belgium Association based at Brussels Airport.

Alexander Tonn has become the new Managing Director of European Logistics Germany. Prior to this, he was the Head of Contract Logistics. He will take up his new position on January 1, 2017 to oversee business development of the 38 German branch offices in the European Logistics business line( overland transport and contract logistics for industrial goods). Tonn will continue to hold this position as Corporate Director Contract Logistics.

Air BP
John Platt has been appointed as Chief Executive of Air BP, the oil company’ s global aviation business. Platt assumes his role on October 1, 2016 taking over from David Gilmour who has successfully led Air BP since 2013. David Gilmour stays with BP taking up the role of Vice President, BP Group Technology.

David Joyce has been named as Vice Chair of GE Aviation and additive manufacturing. Additionally, David will lead GE’ s efforts to establish and grow an additive manufacturing equipment, materials and services business, as well as accelerating additive manufacturing applications across GE.

Gillian Haythornthwaite has been appointed to the position of Non-Executive Director; human resources( HR) for B & H Worldwide. Haythornthwaite is a senior HR professional with over 30 years’ experience working at executive and board level. She has previously worked with the B & H Worldwide team on specific projects for a number of years and will now be focused on performance management and corporate culture strategy.
