Bishop Green’s successor, Superintendent Robert Grimes shared with the audience, “I was saved under Bishop Green in 1986 and, after being away for 28 years, he called me back home to take over the church. What a great honor to be able to succeed the man that I got saved under [sic].”
Clovis lost one of its most productive teams, historically, when Mother Ange Green died in 2014, followed by the death of Bishop Charles Green in 2016. The impact of their lives of dedicated, love in action continues and lives on.
