Pink Ball a social event Fundraising Gala Dinner

This year theme “Just Beat It!” honoring cancer survivors in the community, coming together to help inspire and motivate those living with cancer and cancer- free. Cancer has touched us all in one way or another in our lifetime, helping to encourage not only the survivors but their families, the doctors, nurses, and caregivers to keep celebrating life by living every day to the fullest!

Community leaders and local organizations gathered at the Gala to help celebrate by showing love and support with building a healthy cancer-free community.

Each year the survivors are presented with a small monetary token to help with expenses. This year’s survivor’s includes, Maria Elsa Sanchez and Susan Spousta each receiving a $150 check each.

The youngest honoree Ms. Katie Gutierrez, 19 of Eunice, NM suffers from a form of cancer called craniopharyngioma. During her last brain surgery on Aug. 9, 2017 causing a stroke in her brain stem, her battle for life is getting tougher.
