BENTON COUNTY

Crawley’ s Valley View Farms

– Family service in two world wars
“ My great-great grandfather, William Samuel Crawley, homesteaded in Washington County around 1850, having come from Tennessee,” Tim Crawley, owner of the Crawley’ s Valley View Farms, began.“ He was a potter by trade, as well as a farmer, and became the first commercial maker of pottery in Northwest Arkansas.”
William’ s son, Washington Burgess Crawley, moved his family from the Strickler community to the Maysville area in Benton County in 1910. He and his wife, Arizona, were the original owners of the farm.
One of their sons, Ery, died in France in the fall of 1918 after being wounded while serving in the Army in World War

You’ ve reached a milestone to be proud of.
