Here is a sample prayer you can use as you work on renewing your mind with God's truth: Prayer of Renewal Lord, according to your Word in Romans 12:1-2, I will choose to present my body to you, God, as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to you, and I will no longer allow my body to be used as an instrument of sin. I submit to the process of being transformed by the renewing of my mind. I ask you to "search me [thoroughly], 0 God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there is any wicked or hurtful way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting" (Psalm 139:23-24, AMP). I ask you to help me in this process. Your Word tells me you created me in your image and that you desire to set me free in my thinking, feelings, and the choices I make. I want to see myself, others, and you the way I should, and without negativity. I ask for your grace to help me cooperate with you as you renew my mind.
