waste materials are rendered inert for reuse as construction material or recycling in the hide processing circuit: treated water is used to make watercolors that reproduce water’s behavior patterns whenever it encounters and flows, or the fillers that start as scrap from treatment process and acquire new life and are aesthetically reconfigured in the sculptures that mix floral and geometrical patterns. The circular and continuous movement, the industriousness of the men and machinery seems to resonate also in that “mop” made of sections of leather attached to the wall alongside the bucket or as, another sculpture made of pipes on display at the show guarantees in utopian style the continuous recirculation of the spray of water. “Each one of the works on display, concludes the curator, is treated as another timely element in a process, with its specific value and function. All the works trigger flows and relationships with one another, dynamize the space through the movement and attention they demand and the formal characteristics that evoke continuous flow from one room to the next.”
