We must remember here that Jan Fabre during his long career - which began in the 70s - has already had several contacts with Florence, taking part in many group shows and presenting here some of his theatrical productions. In 2012 two of his bronze busts of Chapters series, in which he portrays himself with impressive horns and donkey ears, have become part of the Uffizi collections. In 2015 the artist received the Michelangelo Award for sculpture at the second edition of Michelangiolesca week and was a guest at the Galleria il Ponte with a solo entitled Knight of the Night.
