REILLY ANDREWS Glowing Liquids ! The purpose of my since project is to figure out if different liquids glow in black light with highlighter ink in it. I hypothesized that the water and the sprite would glow but not the orang juice. ! My materials are: one black light, three highlighters, three empty water battles, one cup of water, one cup of sprite, one cup of orang juice, and scissors. ! My procedure is to: first, get three water bottles; second, cut open three yellow highlighters; third, fill the three water bottles with one cup of water, sprite, and orange juice; fourth, carefully cut the ink tube that you will find in the middle of the highlighter; fifth, suck the ink tubes in each of the ink tubs in the liquids for one or two minutes; sixth, squeeze all of the remaining ink not of the tubes; seventh, shake the liquids up, put the black light over the three liquids. ! The independent is the different liquids I am using. The dependent variable is the amount of liquid in each cup. The controlled variable is the amount of black light it is getting. ! The results of my project is that the water glowed the best, then the Sprite. =
