NISHANT DOMALA SMART FLIERS ! The purpose of my experiment is to find out which paper airplane design flies the farthest length. My hypothesis is that a plane with wide wings will fly farther. ! To conduct this experiment, the materials I needed were paper, measuring tape, tape, and a notepad. Hereʼs the procedure. First, I designed a paper airplane with the paper. Then, I marked my standing point (where Iʼm throwing the plane) with the tape. I threw the plane and marked the stopping with another strip of tape. Last, I measured the distance between the two tapes and wrote it down on the notepad. I repeated the steps with other planes. ! Hereʼs some facts about my experiment. My dependent variable is the flight of the plane. My independent variable are the designs. The constant variable is the type of p a p e r. M y r e s u l t s showed that a lot a narrow winged planes flew the farthest. ! My conclusion is narrow winged planes fly the farthest since my results did not match my results. I learned that wider wings have more drag tha
