I know I’ve got blood on my hands
but the blood ain’t mine.
It wasn’t how I see it now,
It can’t have been.
It was a good thing,
Machiavellian and clean.
We all came out of this as
better versions of each other.
Ecdemomania is a serious concern.
As a man once said,
I heard the highway calling.
There’s a time to glean
And a time to leave,
and the second came first,
and the first came second.
