Stanford’s tournament run came to an end in Memphis, where the
Cardinal feel to Dayton 82-72 in the Sweet 16. Chasson Randle
scored a game-high 21 points and led four Cardinal players who
scored in double figures, but Stanford was unable to recover from a
10-point halftime deficit. Many notable Stanford alums made the
trip to see the Cardinal play, including Richard Sherman,
Condoleezza Rice, David Shaw, Brevin Knight and Josh Childress.
