Chasson Randle scored 23 points to lead Stanford to a
58-53 victory over No. 17/17 New Mexico in the
second round of the tournament and opening game for
both teams. Anthony Brown and Stefan Nastic added
10 points apiece for Stanford, who also received
valuable bench production from John Gage (three
points, six rebounds) and Robbie Lemons (two free
throws with 23 seconds remaining).
