Brickhouse: The media frequently reports on the  extremely high crime rate in your hometown of Chicago. As a native to  the "Windy City," talk about the reasoning you see behind  the surging crime rate as well as possible solutions to  the problem.

Ronnie: I grew up in Englewood and have seen the social ills first hand. I believe that when people are placed in a situation where there are not financial opportunities to take care of your family, and there are sub standard schools and housing and people are treated like they don’t matter, that could affect people psychologically and if people feel they are forgotten and desperate, they react in that way. I believe if the scales were balanced, people would choose to do better things. Also factor the anguish from the things I described previously coupled with guns and drugs that we don’t supply and you have a powder keg ready to explode. That’s why Im on the grind non stop to get people to a higher understanding of self and creator to break the cycle of violence and crime.

Brickhouse: Are there any tips you can provide  to readers who may be interested in breaking into one of the many  industries you are involved in?

Ronnie: I would say study, do your research, hone your craft, and find your place. In each thing I have been involved in, I have become a student of it. I studied Hip Hop looked at what made the greats great and honed my skills and then found my sound. In speaking I listened to the best speakers and studied them not to mimic but to find my motivation and imagine myself doing what they do. Then I found my speaking voice. In podcasting. I have literally watched thousands of hours of interviews and took notes to master the art of interviewing. I have listened to thousands of hours of podcasts to get structure and format and take mental notes and apply to how I do it. Don’t do anything to be famous do it to become great!!

Brickhouse: As this interview showcases, you are a busy man! Before I let you get out of here, we are going to play a quick Q&A game. I will give you an open ended statement and you  answer with the first response that comes to  your mind.
