3 4 Once your mug is drawn to your liking, it needs to sit overnight or for at least 8 hours. But check the marker packaging to see if that time is different for the brand you purchased. Now it’s time to bake your mug! Sounds strange, I know, but this will make the paint on your mug permanent. Again, check the marker packaging to make sure these instructions match. For mine, I had to place the mugs in the oven on a cookie sheet and THEN turn on the oven to 375 degrees. Once it reached a temperature of 375, I set the timer for 40 minutes. When the 40 minutes was done, I turned off the oven and opened the oven door. Leaving the mugs inside while it cools helps them to get back to room temperature slowly. 5 You’re done! Enjoy your awesome and original mug with a cup of hot chocolate! And if you’re giving it as a gift, you could throw in a little bag of hot chocolate mix and marshmallows, add a ribbon, and ta-da! Everyone will love your personal and creative gift! 21
