wanted to help them complete Personal
Progress, and I could do that by focusing
on the similar themes of the Personal
Progress program. I sat down and went
through the entire book, noting scriptures
that were read and habits that were
worked on, and I discovered that, if you
work really hard, you can do all the
experiences in about three months. “12
Weeks of Progress” kind of fell into place
after that. As I scheduled and organized all
of the activities, I decided to put the
finished project on a website so that
people could access it more easily . I don’t
think it’s necessary or even the best option
for girls to earn their medallion this quickly,
because Personal Progress is meant to be
savored and built upon to develop lasting
habits. But I wanted to create this tool for
those who would benefit from a more
structured approach, or who needed to
jump-start or finally complete their
progress.
On Eliza’s website
12 Weeks of Progress
you’ll find a detailed
schedule for each week that
includes scriptures to read,
habits to start, experiences
to record, and how it fits
into the Personal Progress
requirements.
You can also find journal
and discussions
assignments, as well as a
breakdown for reading
The Book of Mormon
in just 12 weeks.
