The web is also a great place to go for creative instruction. Sites like Skillshare, Atly, Creative Bug, and even good old Youtube have tutorials, workshops, and even full blown classes where you can learn almost anything from flower arranging to wood working to home design. There’s so much information available and you don’t always need to spend a lot of money to try something new. And don’t be afraid to try something new! Dabble! You may not find something you love right away but in trying new things you’ll learn a lot. While I may not be an expert in all of these areas, after a lot of dabbling, I’m certainly proficient in singing, oil painting, photography, sewing, graphic design, CSS coding, calligraphy, cooking and baking, and number of other things. I’m not the best at most of them, but I’ve found they’re things I enjoy doing and they give me satisfaction. If I hadn’t given them a try I would never have known how much fun they can be or appreciate the work that goes into them.
