Petrofac expands scope with TotalEnergies
Petrofac consulting team in Woking , UK has strengthened its position in supporting the Netherlands ’ ambitions for CO2 capture and storage with an award from TotalEnergies EP Nederland BV of multi-million-dollar front-end-engineering design ( FEED ) for a CO2 injection platform . The project involves the decommissioning of topsides and installation of a new repurposed platform connecting to the Aramis CO2 distribution network . This follows the award of a FEED to Petrofac earlier this year covering the design of the 32 ” CO2 trunkline , including onshore , landfall , and offshore sections , together with the offshore CO distribution hub platform for the Aramis system . This project is ongoing . This additional scope is a testament to our team ’ s success in the carbon transport and storage ( CCS ) sector internationally and reflects our growing expertise in managing the challenges and opportunities in delivering CO2 capture , transport , and storage at scale .
related services . The scope covers the further development of two oil fields in the strategically important Santos Basin . As part of the second development of the Atapu and Sepia fields , SLB OneSubsea will provide the Petrobras-standard configured , pre-salt vertical trees , subsea distribution units , subsea control systems , and pipeline systems , along with related installation , commissioning , and life-of-field services . Much of the technology and equipment to be deployed , including the vertical trees and subsea control systems , will be produced and serviced locally at SLB OneSubsea ’ s facilities in Brazil . These projects add to Petrobras ’ material pre-salt investments and will enable the addition of two new floating production , storage , and offloading ( FPSO ) platforms , P-84 ( Atapu ) and P-85 ( Sepia ). They will each have a daily production capacity of 225,000 barrels of oil per day and processing of 10 million cubic meters of gas per day .

Meanwhile , the alleged dumping rate of 37.62 % on cold-rolled stainless steel from Vietnam ’ s three companies , Yongjin Metal Technology , TVL Joint Stock Company , and TVL Steel Production and Construction Joint Stock Company , will also be probed . KTC planned to make a preliminary decision in October .
