Jindal Stainless opens unit in Mumbai for skill development, equipping India’ s workforce for the infrastructure of tomorrow.
Conflux Technology supports Airbus’ ZEROe project
Jindal Stainless, through its wholly owned subsidiary Jindal Stainless Steelway Limited( JSSL), has launched its first stainless steel fabrication unit at Washivali, Patalganga, in Mumbai. This step is aimed at setting new benchmarks in integrated infrastructure excellence. The facility will cater to the needs of the bridge sector and focus on fabricating, among other critical components, various types of girders. The facility marks a strategic leap for the company, strengthening its position as both a major supplier of stainless steel material and a provider of end-to-end fabrication solutions for India’ s rapidly growing infrastructure sector. By FY26-27, the unit is expected to achieve an annual fabrication capacity of 18,000 tonnes, up from an estimated 4,000 tonnes in the current financial year, to meet the growing demand for sustainable, high-quality bridge infrastructure. Beyond boosting capacity, the unit will serve as a centre of excellence
Conflux
Technology has announced its role in supporting Airbus’ ZEROe project by developing an advanced heat exchanger using additive manufacturing, designed for hydrogen-electric propulsion systems. Conflux’ s heat exchanger, developed through rigorous Computational Fluid Dynamic( CFD) modelling and validated in lab-scale testing, offers a lightweight, high-performance approach tailored to the demanding conditions of aerospace integration. The Airbus ZEROe project is focused on delivering a commercially viable, fully electric, hydrogen-powered commercial aircraft into service and suppliers like Conflux are contributing with critical components that will enable safe, efficient, and certifiable flight systems.
