MKN uses Aperam infinite™ for its SteelPlus option

Equinor signs an agreement with EQT
Singapore ’ s MAC Shipping has revealed that it has ordered four duplex stainless steel chemical tankers from Xin Jiangzhou Shipbuilding Heavy Industry , which are expected to be delivered from 2026 onwards , marking the owner ’ s first newbuilding project . New Jiangzhou Shipbuilding Heavy Industry recently cut steel for the first 25900DWT duplex stainless steel chemical tanker , built for MAC SHIPPING . The vessel is built with an LOA of 158.98m , width of 27m , design draft of 9.5 m , speed of 14 knots , and is driven by a low-speed diesel engine with a power of 5CKW and a FPP system . The vessel is designed and built strictly in accordance with the specifications of ABS , and with double hull , double bottom , one complete continuous freeboard deck and forecastle , poop with accommodation deckhouse , transom stern with one hanged rudder as well as bulbous bow . The vessel has been designed with environmental protection and energy saving in mind and is equipped with advanced energy saving devices to meet the requirements of EEDI ( Energy Efficiency Design Index ) Stage 3 . The vessel is suitable for the carriage of kinds of IMO II & III chemicals and Annex I oil cargos , with a maximum cargo density of 2.0t / m ³, fully meeting the needs of Singapore MAC Shipping Pte LTD for a diversified , efficient , and safe vessel . The 25,900 tons ocean-going duplex stainless steel chemical tanker is the largest high-end stainless steel chemical tanker project undertaken by Jiangxi Province . Its smooth steel cutting marks the new Jiangzhou Shipbuilding Industry officially entered the field of high-end chemical tanker construction .
Equinor has signed an agreement with EQT Corporation to acquire an additional non-operated interest in the Northern Marcellus formation in the US . Equinor will pay USD 1.25bn to EQT . Under the agreement , Equinor is acquiring 100 % of EQT ’ s remaining working interest in Northern Marcellus gas units primarily operated by Expand Energy . The transaction will increase cashflow from the international portfolio by adding natural gas volumes with low carbon intensity emissions from production . With this transaction , Equinor is increasing its average working interest in the Northern Marcellus asset from 25.7 % to 40.7 %. The transaction adds approximately 80,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day ( boe / d ) to Equinor ’ s US production in the near term . Equinor ’ s E & P USA business has delivered over USD 5.5 bn in adjusted operating income after tax since the start of 2021 .
Exxon expects FID for Mozambique LNG project in 2026
ExxonMobil now expects a final investment decision ( FID ) for its Rovuma liquefied natural gas ( LNG ) project in Mozambique in 2026 , the company said , pushing back the financial go-ahead by roughly a quarter . The company had said in May it expected the final investment decision for the project at the end of 2025 . The company said it was making progress on the project , despite the ongoing force majeure and expects its first LNG by 2030 . “ We will continue to work in close collaboration with the Government of Mozambique and expect the security situation to stabilize ,” a company spokesperson told Reuters . ExxonMobil and its partner Eni ( ENI . MI ), are developing the Rovuma LNG project in offshore Area 4 in northern Mozambique , and it is expected to produce 18 MTPA of LNG .
