Tenova receives Hasçelik order
Bar finishing line for Acciaierie Valbruna
Tenova has received an order from Hasçelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A . S ., to install and commission state-of-the-art equipment in a new plant in Osmaneli ( Bilecik , Türkiye ). The new line will comprise a Consteel ® Electric Arc Furnace ( EAF ) equipped with Consteerrer ® , an electro-magnetic liquid steel stirring system , a Ladle Furnace ( LF ) and a Twin Vacuum Degasser ( VD ). All units are linked and governed by an extensive , state-of-the-art automation system to optimize the whole process and guarantee high-quality steel grades .

A new bar finishing line at Acciaierie Valbruna is designed to maximise efficiency and resource optimisation to enable a high level of operational process automation . This will reduce operation costs and allow the company to cater to the specific needs of its customers . By using the best available technologies , the risk of accidents will be minimised , ensuring a safe and sustainable working environment for all employees . The TAU rolling mill processes a wide range of stainless steel , duplex and super duplex , superalloys , and titanium . The new line will handle round bars , round-edge square bars , and square billets . The project will also include the L1 automation , the software integration with the rolling mill ’ s PLC system , and the software communication with the existing L2 system . POMINI Long Rolling Mills will provide supervision services for equipment installation and commissioning and training services to the personnel . Hot commissioning of the new line is scheduled for last quarter 2024 .
TPREL signs PDA with Mukand
The ESAB Renegade VOLT™ ES 200i Stick / TIG battery-powered welding system is now available . Powered by four DEWALT ® FLEXVOLT ® 12 Ah ( amp-hour ) batteries , Renegade VOLT offers a Stick output of 10 – 130A and TIG output of 10 – 150A on battery power . The Renegade VOLT provides the power to weld with up to 33 ( E6013 ) electrodes or TIG weld for up to 45 minutes on a single charge in standard operating conditions . Renegade VOLT also connects to 120V / 230V primary power and provides a maximum welding output of 200A when connected to 230V . Additionally , Renegade VOLT has an exclusive AMP + Hybrid Mode that supplements wall power with battery power to mitigate nuisance circuit breaker tripping .
Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited ( TPREL ) and Mukand have entered into a power delivery agreement ( PDA ) for a 43.75MW AC group captive solar project in Maharashtra , India . The facility is situated in the town of Jamkhed and is expected to produce 99.82 million stainless steel units annually and offset more than 54,687 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually . The plant ’ s goal is to meet Mukand ’ s increasing energy needs , as well as contribute to greener steel manufacturing procedures and production in the country . The group captive solar power facility will be built , operated , and maintained by TPREL . The project is scheduled for completion in March next year .
