Driven by its own‘ Strategy 2030’, BUTTING is continuously investing in production, development and research. To this end, the motto‘ Challenge Us.’ was proclaimed. Stainless Steel World spoke with Norbert Heinzle, Managing Director and CEO of the Pipe Technology Division of the BUTTING Group, and Hanne Butting, Director of Business Development, about the current market situation, what sets BUTTING apart from the competition and how the company is specifically positioning itself for the future.

With the company looking forward to its 250th anniversary next year, Mr Heinzle was keen to give an update on the company.“ One of the factors behind BUTTING’ s success is bold investment, and we continue to pursue this strategy. To name just two major projects: we are currently building a new production site in Alabama, USA. And at our headquarters in Knesebeck, Germany, we are investing in 10,000 m ² of new production space for customer-specific components, among other things. In addition, we promote the continuous development of our expertise. Whether in forming, welding, machining or materials technology, whether in engineering, logistics or assembly: the name BUTTING stands for outstanding expertise worldwide.”
