Mukand Limited, a major manufacturer of stainless steel long products and a part of the Bajaj Group, has been awarded the prestigious Green Steel certification, marking a significant milestone in the company’ s sustainability journey. This certification recognises Mukand Limited’ s continued efforts to adopt environmentally responsible manufacturing practices and reduce its carbon footprint. The independent audit, conducted by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry( FICCI), involved rigorous verification of Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions, plant energy consumption, and production data at the company’ s Thane facility. With this certification, Mukand Limited strengthens its position as a responsible industry leader committed to delivering high-quality steel solutions while minimising environmental impact.
a Memorandum of Understanding under the Government of India’ s Production Linked Incentive Scheme 1.2 for specialty steel, marking its admission into the national programme aimed at strengthening domestic steel manufacturing. The approval covers alloy steel and stainless steel long products for strategic sectors. The Scheme is a time-bound, production-linked initiative designed to promote import substitution, enhance domestic value addition, and improve India’ s global competitiveness in high-grade and steel products.
Subsea7 secures Chevron contract
Technip Energies contract with SkyNRG
Subsea7 has secured a substantial contract by Chevron for subsea installation in the Eastern Mediterranean. Subsea7’ s scope includes the transport and installation of approximately 17 km of subsea flowlines and umbilicals. Project management and engineering will commence immediately and will be managed by Subsea7’ s office in Paris, France. Offshore activities are expected to commence in Q1 2028.

Technip Energies has been awarded a substantial contract by SkyNRG for the DSL-01 project, a new Sustainable Aviation Fuel( SAF) production facility to be developed in Delfzijl, the Netherlands. The award covers Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning( EPCC) for Europe’ s first standalone greenfield SAF production facility. It follows the successful completion of the Front-End Engineering & Design( FEED) phase by Technip Energies and marks a significant step in the long-standing collaboration with SkyNRG. The DSL-01 project is designed to produce 100,000 tons per annum of SAF using the Hydroprocessed Esters and Fatty Acids( HEFA) pathway, processing sustainable waste feedstocks such as used cooking oil.
