IperionX secures contract from US DoD Kinzie acquires Fraser Steel , LLC
IperionX has been awarded a contract for up to USD 47.1M in funding by the US Department of Defense ( DoD ) to strengthen the US Defense Industrial Base by accelerating development of a resilient , low-cost , and fully-integrated US mineral-to-metal titanium supply chain . This strategic partnership represents a combined investment of USD 70.7M between IperionX and the DoD to fund a twophase development programme over a two-year period . The agreement aims to strengthen US titanium production capabilities , supporting national security and economic resilience . As part of the initial phase , the DoD has obligated USD 5M through the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment ( IBAS ) programme and IperionX will contribute USD 1M to expedite the Titan Critical Minerals Project in Tennessee to ‘ shovelready ’ status .

This strategic acquisition marks an exciting addition to Kinzie ’ s portfolio and reinforces its commitment to driving growth in the manufacturing sector . Fraser provides design and engineering , laser tube cutting , precision bending , robotic welding , machining , and fabrication services . With a strong focus on customer service , the company serves diverse end-markets , including powersports , commercial furniture , lawn and garden , and agriculture .

The Hamburg-based company , John T Essberger has received the International Chemical Tanker Industry Leader award for its outstanding contributions to the maritime industry , particularly in the realm of sustainable shipping and technological innovation . The award acknowledges Essberger ’ s substantial investment in environmentally friendly tonnage including two state-of-the-art , 7,100-dwt stainless steel dualfuel chemical tankers , Eberhart Essberger and Heinrich Essberger .
ADDiTEC has launched the AMDROiD X Laser Directed Energy Deposition system to support manufacturers in defence , construction , energy and emergency response . ADDiTEC believes the new solution will provide advantages in point-of-demand manufacturing and metal repair thanks to its portable modular design , self-sustaining gas supply and userfriendly software . The AMDROiD X is a 10-foot container that is expandable to 169 square feet , with an integrated command centre for ‘ streamlined operation in harsh conditions ’, while a builtin nitrogen generator eliminates the need for external shielding gas in most applications . It is also equipped with 54 kWh of storage across four power walls , which are fully rechargeable through solar technology , and proprietary software tools that enable complex multi-axis geometries . The AMDROiD X also has an optional Ultra High Power 12 kW fibre laser and is able to process stainless steel , aluminium and copper materials .
