On 13 & 14 November , the Duplex World conference & expo will take place in Rotterdam , the Netherlands . The recent meeting of the international Steering Committee brought together leading materials experts from across Europe .

In a gathering of some of the world ’ s leading experts on duplex stainless steel , the Duplex World Steering Committee met in March to formulate the conference program for the upcoming event . Hosted at the Fluor offices in Hoofddorp , the Netherlands , the Conference Chairman Dr Yassar Ghanimi from Andritz AG , Austria , led the evaluation of abstracts submitted in response to the Call for Papers and the resulting discussions . commented on the notably high quality of the abstracts this year , which made evaluating them a pleasure . It was almost a full house at the meeting , with 23 attendees joining the conversation in the stylishly appointed facilities .
