D in mechanical engineering in 2016 , when he studied the microstructural evolution during friction stir welding of aluminium at high feed rates . He works at eNtsa , an engagement institute associated with the Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth , South Africa as Group Specialist : Research and Innovation . Dreyers ’ research responsibilities include FSW in aluminium in the transportation sector ; developing rotary friction welding processes and sampling methods for the petrochemical and

Alexis Gauthard , NE-OTISS France , France Mr Alexis Gauthard is working at Neotiss France as a technical sales engineer . He was graduated in September 2012 as a mechanical engineer . He is helping the sales team to promote their expertise in NDT and heat transfer with the clients . He has the chance to work directly at the production plant which allows him to be really closed to their technologies . Their main market activities are on the nuclear market , refineries and HVAC where the quality and efficiency of the tubes are the key points .
Briony Holmes , TWI , UK Dr Briony Holmes ( CEng ) is a Principal Project Leader at TWI Ltd , Cambridge , UK , where she has worked for over 15 years . Her day-to-day responsibilities involve various failure investigations , welding qualification testing and materials selection consultancy work on various stainless steels and corrosion topics . Her special work interests include metallurgy , corrosion and microanalysis of stainless steels .
