Next in the opposing Interview seat is Linebacker #54 Scott Gillham Name : Scott Gillham or 'Gilly' to the Romans Position : Linebacker Squad No : 54 How many years playing American Football : 4 years, captain for 2 What got you into the game : I played the Madden Games and then starting following the NYG Best game you have played : Best game I played on a personal level was beating Manchester titans in 2013 for the first time in my career, on a team level it was progressing to the national semi- finals, also in 2013 Worst memory of playing American Football : My worst memory would sadly be our defeat to Gateshead senators in the previously mentioned semi- final, I think we had a bad day at the office and could have put on a much better showing. Who is your NFL team : New York giants How do you feel the 2013 season went for your team : I believe 2013 on the whole was a good year for the Romans and we proved a lot of teams and people wrong, but to get so near to the premiership to lose (in the way we did) was heart breaking What do you hope to see from the team in the 2014 season : Our goal for 2014 is simple. 1 word, Bowl. Simple as that. It's the only way we can improve I believe. Best place you have played American football at : I think I would have to say Meadowbank stadium in Edinburgh, which I believe was once used in the commonwealth games. A great venue with a massive stand. Which player should we keep an eye out for in the game from the Chester Romans : I'm not really a fan of singling out specific players, but what I will say is watch out for our defense, we have some big playmakers, some hard hitters and some all out heroes on our side of the ball.
