A pair of shoes

One sunny day a girl named Cleo wanted to earn some money for a pair of shoes which glows
in the dark! Almost everyone in the school had one so Cleo begged her parents but it was of no
use. Later in the afternoon her mom gave Cleo ice cream, though Cleo is fond of ice-cream
otherwise but she didn't relish this time ,instead dumped it in her little brother's head for which
she was grounded .After dinner she slept like a baby. In her dream she got an idea.
The next day she put on a lemonade stand. She waited and waited and finally got a huge line and
made $11. She subtracted it and saw she has to make $44 more. After lunch she thought of
mowing people's lawns. Mr. Greendale called first then Mrs. Henderson and the last one was
Ms. Miller. Cleo mowed each ones lawn but after Ms. Miller she was dirty, messy, and feeling
sleepy. She took a bath and counted her money and made $8 more which meant she has a total of
$19.but Cleo still needs to earn $36 more dollars. But after dinner she went to sleep.
The next day in her lemonade she added mint leaves and worked on other flavors and people
loved it so much that some people paid $1 even if the sign says 10 cents!
After 2 hours she made $40 she made extra money!
But when she got to the store she didn't want to be like everybody else so she didn't want the
shoe anymore. But what she really wants was…a bicycle!!!And she could buy it with the shoe
money. So she brought it home, but on the way home she paid for a candy bar with the extra
lemonade money.
From that day on she worked hard to earn and make right choice on what to buy, and also knew
the secret to a perfect lemonade!
