Movement Matters
NBSS Programme supporting student learning
Movement Matters is an individual, movement based programme. It was designed to support and develop attentive classroom behaviour which allows students to focus in the classroom.
This year we had two students participate in Movement Matters. They were very positive about the program and recommend that other students get the opportunity to take part next year. Both reported being able to focus for longer periods in the class setting. To find out more click here.

They give us another valuable perspective on school life. This year the staff read Eleanor Oliphant by Gail Honeyman. In Ms. O'Connor's English class students read Colin Fischer by Ashley Edward Miller and Zach Stenz
In transition year a module was introduced and taught by ASD teacher Stephen O'Neill and during Autism Awareness Week, one of the students who took this class presented to the school community and parent body.
