What kind and amazing people they are. There was always a driver to take us where ever we wanted to go. Mylene did all the booking. Breakfast was delivered to your room and I had delicious fruit sitting out on the balcony looking out on to the swimming pool, coconut trees and rice fields. 27th December we did the North East Tour. We went to the Goa Gaajah Temple – Holy Spring Water Temple – Kitntamani Lake and Batur Mountain View – Rice Terrace Tegallalang – coffee plantation. The architecture of the Temples is amazing. Another great day. 28th December. We did the Ubud tour. After breakfast the driver took us to the Barong Dance show which was great. We then drove out to the Bird Sanctuary. Most beautiful birds and I had my photo taken with one of the beautiful birds sitting on my arm. We then watched a show with the birds flying next to us and then returning to the Keeper. We then drove out to Celuk Village Special Jewellery where we were given a tour round the workshops and saw the crafts people at work making the silver jewellery. Then on to Batuan Village Special Painting Style and then to Mas Village Wood carving. Very talented people. We then went to the Ubud Monkey Forest. Amazing. Another great and very interesting day. 29th December. We were taken to the Bali Botanico Day Spa. Fantastic. Never spent such a relaxing day in my life. James and Mylene felt the same. It was the wet season in Bali and the rain can be torrential. We were very lucky and managed to dodge the very heavy rain. It was always lovely and warm, and the sun very quickly dried up the roads. I left Bali on 30th December and arrived back in Glasgow on the 31st. This has been the most wonderful and amazing holiday. Amazing Bali. Very kind people. Thank you to everyone in Bali. Gladys 16
