St Oswald's Magazine StOM 1705 | Page 4

Would I be able to lead, could I speak with conviction, was I too tired to carry on, was God there or had He given all to heal Ashley? The image was so powerful that I took a photo (see Page 20) with my trusty phone. The shadows hid the faces of Matt and Carole-ann. It looked for all the world as though Mary was standing at the foot of the cross looking up at her son Jesus. History became a reality in St Oswald’s church in that moment. Across time came the symbolic image of my deep and unyielding faith. The words I ‘felt’ were; I AM who I AM, and I AM always here with you, and always enough to heal any scar. I realised that if I put Christ first and last in my life always, I will never be alone, I will always be carried when needed, He will give me what I need when I reach out to Him. And He will always be there for you too. Lesley-ann x SPACE AVAILABLE! Ask for details of available accommodation for new groups to use the facilities or advertising space in the magazine.
