We were all delighted that the power of prayer, supporting amazing medical
advances, enabled Ashley to be back at St Oswald’s on the occasion of his
daughter’s wedding and hope it will not be too long before he is back
permanently amongst us. The news that Rev Lesley-ann will return and lead
us through the Sundays of Advent was also very welcome.
Our thanks to all Lay Readers and Priests who have taken our services and
a special mention to Rev. Canon Dr Barnabus Oguguo, from Lenzie, who
had the congregation of 30 participating in a choral rehearsal prior to the
service and a cappella singing of Taize chants. What a joyous sound!
The plans for Sunday services during Advent and the celebration of
Christmas are very fluid so do not be surprised if what takes place is not
EXACTLY as printed below. Read in conjunction with the rota.
