TEMPLE SALE

I’m cleaning my spiritual house,
it’s become quite a mess . . .
in it there is so much junk
I must be honest and confess.
It’s so crammed and packed,
the Holy Spirit cannot dwell
so I’m going to be having me
a temple clearing sale.
Over time it’s gotten crowded,
with worthless things I ensue
Lord, I promise when I’m done
t here’ll be only room for You.
So, I’m sifting through my stuff,
all my material possessions
getting rid of anything. .
that has become an obsession.
I’m cleaning my spiritual house,
so I can have some extra space
where God can come and fill it . .
with more, of His daily grace!
