FROM THE PULPIT I am sat looking out of my study window at the mountains in the distance, they are covered with snow which gleams white against the clear blue sky, and there are shadows on them which bring out the beauty and depth of the glacier carved crevices. I have been sat looking at them for quite a while, transfixed with the ever changing living landscape morphing into such different patterns. Below the mountains lays the city which looks amazing with the high towers and the different colours of the buildings, at the same time as gazing and day dreaming I am wondering what on earth I am going to write for the Easter edition of the church magazine. I would quite like God to write it for me really, I’ll snooze on the purple sofa and he can wax lyrical about the meaning of Easter!!! I caught myself saying aloud ‘like that is ever going to happen!’ So here I am with writers block with a most excellent view. And then I realise that God has indeed written the piece for me, since he created the Earth and all living things He has been in the Holy Spirit dancing over the land and seas, and in the last 20 minutes he has been putting on a powerful display of His creation powers just for me!
