Tuckerbox Building
On 19 October, Holy Cross formally opened its new Tuckerbox building.
Strong winds tore the ribbons from their attachments over doors and
had to be replaced each time before being officially cut by people
whose contributions were significant. Political representatives and
others spoke warmly of the great service provided by Tuckerbox. Rector
Tim Watson conducted a short service and blessed the new building
and all the people present. Following the formalities, many people
looked through the new building whilst others enjoyed a free BBQ in the
church grounds.
