Diary from Private (later Sergeant) George Arthur Forster, an Honour Roll for
Victoria’s 1st Expeditionary Force to the Motherland and Menu cards from Cairo
provided by Marg Forster.
Items from Robyn Swadling’s father – Stanley Percy Hoskin - who was a Warrant
Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force and became an inmate at the Changi
POW Camp from 1942 to 1945. A brown leather wallet, Containing telegrams
and letter sent to Robyn’s mother. A crocodile skin handbag, note and hand-
made ribbon Lace blouse sent to her from Singapore. His metal ID tags, with
“wings” badges. A certificate of his service in the Air Force in WW 2.
A book titled " Bamboo Round my Shoulder: Changi: The Lighter Side" by
George Sprod, in memory of Pam Kelly’s oldest brother Keith Stevens who took
part in the Malaysian Campaign as part of the 8th Division and was a POW at
Changi from 1942 until 1945. Keith is remembered with great love by Pam as are
her other three brothers who fought in that war.
