Blogs and an Exhibition
John Goss drew my attention to “The Good Life”, a series of blogs in
which Andrew leigh has conversations with various well known people,
such as Marie Coleman, Tim Minchin, Barry Jones and Leigh Sales.
You can listen to them at https://goodlifepodcast.podbean.com/. If you
are tech savvy, you might instal an app, such as Podbean, for listening
to them on your smart phone. Then you could link your phone via Blue-
tooth to your car radio system and listen whilst driving.
You might be interested to check out the exhibition at the Belconnen
arts Centre until 9 June (10 AM - 4 PM, Tues - Sun). Called
“Metamorphosis [unframed]” it is 110 works on paper pinned to the
walls that investigate ideas of transition and transformation. There are
works by children right through to professional artists. As a visitor you
are encouraged to vote for your favourite work, with all the works being
eligible for a $500 People’s Choice Award. You might even think my
printed image - Enlightened Change (number 88) - is worth a vote.
