How amazing was the Biggest Morning Tea /
lunch on Sunday 7th May ??
Perfect from go to whoa – 72 guests came
through our doors all giving and buying from the
Trading Table – Raffle – Guessing competition.
Our result to date is $2607 from the lunch and $460 for merchandise making a
combined total of $3067 which is our best ever so thank you one and all for
making the Morning Tea such a success.
At the National launch for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea at Parliament House
on Thursday 11th May, at which we were guests, the CEO of the Cancer
Council expressed delight at the result so thank you to everybody.
We have had expressions of praise for the delicious lunch that was served.
Thank you to the ladies who helped in every way in the kitchen. Compliments
also came from guests for the atmosphere created by the set up of tables and
the wonderful floral arrangements by Robin Bennett.
Six lucky people won raffle prizes and they went home smiling and who
wouldn’t ?
A huge thank you to the ladies who helped on the door, sold raffle tickets and
made fantastic sales on the Trading Table. To the three students who gave of
their time to assist on the stalls and competitions we thank you.
All in all a great togetherness time with family and friends.
