Chloe Helps Beat Blood Cancer
Chloe Bennett, Robin’s grand-daughter, is going to almost shave all her hair next
week to raise money in the name of leukemia, being aware that John Bennett died of
a related illness. Robin expects her to look a bit like a hedgehog.
To contribute, the link is http://my.leukaemiafoundation.org.au/chloebennett, where
Chloe writes:
I'm taking part in the World's Greatest Shave for the Leukaemia Founda-
tion.
Please sponsor me to give Aussie families facing blood cancer the emo-
tional and practical support they need.
Blood cancer claims more lives than breast cancer or melanoma. And
today another 35 people will be given the devastating news they have
leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma or another blood disorder.
Will you help by sponsoring me? $53 will ensure someone being treated in
hospital gets a personal visit from a highly-trained health professional so
they get the extra support they need.
Of course, you can donate whatever amount you wish - the $53 mentioned, or more,
or less. It will all help to reach or pass Chloe’s goal of raising $250.
