Reconciliation
On Reconciliation Day recently, I spent some time listening to Paul
House, a Ngambri man born in Canberra and who has lived here all his
life. He attracted an attentive group of people in the sculpture garden
area of the national Gallery of Australia.
Because he was born in Canberra, Paul said he identified as Ngambri -
but like many Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people, he has multiple
ancestries. He also identifies as Ngunnawal
