A Christian Response to Domestic
Violence, 'For Such a Time As This',
is being held at the Australian Centre
for Christianity and Culture, Barton
(Opp Edmund Barton Building).
This one day forum organised by representatives of the Anglican,
Catholic and Uniting Churches, will outline the nature of Family &
Domestic Violence (FDV), provide an understanding of the roles of
major agencies and leading advocates in response to FDV and will
give people an opportunity to hear from the stories of those impacted
by FDV.
The booklet entitled 'For Such a Time As This', especially written for
this forum, will be launched on the day.
As a Christian forum, Senior leaders from the three churches will
share opening comments and there will liturgy in the final session of
the day.
BYO lunch, beverages provided.
A donation on the day would be appreciated to cover costs.
