Wednesday 7 August, St M’s Luncheon Group at Gungahlin Lakes Club
Sunday 18 August, St M’s Diversity Worship Service followed by a
Soups and Slices luncheon
Sunday 8 September, BBQ Fundraiser for Frontier Services
Sunday 15 September, Holy Cross Festival
Sunday 22 September, Joint Creation Worship Service with Holy Cross
Saturday 26 October, Hackett Party at the Shops
Sunday 10 November, our Good Faith choir will join with Kaleidoscope
choir to present a concert in our church.
Sunday 24 November, our Good Faith choir will join with Kaleidoscope
choir to present a repeat concert in the Queanbeyan Uniting Church.
Sunday 1 December, Good Faith and Holy Rosary choirs will join
together to sing at a joint Advent Service at 7.30 PM.
Contributions Wanted
All members of St Margaret’s and the broader Hackett-Downer-
Watson community are invited to contribute articles and photo-
graphs about things that have happened or are going to happen at
the St Margaret’s/Holy Cross complex or in the local community.
Articles about members of the community’s own involvements in
things of interest to others in the community may also be submitted
for potential publication. The deadline for material for the next
issue is 16 August 2019, with that issue being published on 23 Au-
gust. Material should be given to the editor Brian Rope or to Lynda
at the church office. It may be handwritten or typed. It may be post-
ed, emailed or personally delivered. The Editor reserves the right to
edit, or even not use, material.
