Lenten Study
This year ' s Lenten study will follow the DVD discussion resource " Painting the Stars : science , religion and an evolving faith " ( from Living the Questions ). DVD presenters include Rachel Held Evans , Matthew Fox , Michael Morwood , Bruce Sanguin , Bernard Brandon Scott , John Shelby Spong and Gretta Vosper .
A 60 page participant ' s guide is available for reading before each session , along with discussion topics . It can be provided free as an email attachment for reading on a tablet of other device , or printing by participants . Or printed copies can be provided for $ 5 . There will be 7 sessions , each 90 minutes in duration , on Wednesday afternoons at 2 pm , first session on 1 March at St Margaret ' s .
If the Wednesday time does not suit you can attend sessions on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm St James in Curtin , commencing on 21 February ( with the 28th free for those who want to attend the “ Meet a Muslim ” evening ).
