Thanks from Robyn & Brian
We would very much like to express our thanks and gratitude to everyone who has prayed for us both during Robyn ’ s somewhat lengthy period of hospitalisation .
The support from numerous people in our church community ( including the Holy Cross members of the joint Good Faith choir ) has been wonderful - numerous enquiries as to Robyn ’ s ( and Brian ’ s ) physical and emotional well being , many and various offers of assistance , lots of visits to Robyn in the hospital , provision of nutritious food for Robyn ( and Brian ) to supplement hospital food and reduce the need for Brian to cook , so many phone calls , emails , cards and flowers from so many people .
It has all served as an excellent reminder of the strength and value of our close knit church community , and of its important place in all our lives .
By the time you read this Robyn may well be home , but her recovery journey will take considerably longer and your continuing prayers will be most welcome .
God bless you all . Robyn and Brian
CONTRIBUTIONS WANTED
All readers are invited to contribute articles about things they have done - photographs taken , jokes heard or made up , poetry written , pictures of drawings or paintings done , prayers written , art or craft made , exciting and positive news received , and whatever else might be appropriate .
Likewise , we would love to have material to put on the St Margaret ’ s Website ( or its YouTube channel ). If you are clever enough to create and send sound recordings or videos of yourself playing an appropriate piece of music on an instrument , reciting a poem , singing a hymn or some other wonderful song , performing a favourite piece , or whatever , then that would be marvellous .
The deadline for material for the next issue is 11 February 2023 , with that issue due to be published on 18 February . Material should be provided to the Editor , Brian Rope , or to Lynda Dyer at the church office .
