On the Social Pages
Brian Rope and Robyn Swadling recently had an opportunity to visit the Canberra
Times as part of a group of digital subscribers to learn something about how the
paper is assembled and printed each day. They saw drafts of some of the pages for
the following day’s edition:
They met and were able to ask questions of the managing editor John-Paul
Maloney, cartoonist David Pope and Australian Community Media Printing General
manager Jon Clark. They also got to be photographed by CT photographer Karleen
Minney. The photos appeared on the CT Website and social pages of the paper it-
self the following day.
