Murray Darling Basin Tour The Uniting Church Murray Darling Basin (UCA MDB) Group consists of a diversity of people from across the Uniting Church, including scientists, farmers, environmentalists, theologians, pastors, educators and others from various parts of the NSW/ACT Synod. The group has arisen out of the Moderator’s MDB consultations and at the present time exists for the purpose of organising a series of Murray Darling Basin Tours and the Faith in a Basin Future project. The group has connections to the formal structures of the church through representatives from the Riverina Presbytery, Canberra Region Presbytery, Uniting, Uniting Earth Ministry, Rural Ministry Unit and Synod Standing Committee as well as through the Moderator and/or Moderator Elect who participate in the group.
